My name is Dawn Ilene, and I am a licensed independent insurance agent contracted with many major insurance companies in FL, WA, ID, and OR. I have been working with seniors, the disabled, and their families for over 18 years, helping them navigate the complexities of the Medicare system to find suitable health plans based on their individual needs. I take a personalized approach — communicating directly with my clients and tailoring a plan to fit them, rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all sales mentality.
Whether you are turning 65 and new to Medicare, transitioning off employer coverage, managing specific healthcare needs, or simply looking for a fresh perspective on your current plan — I will walk you through all of your options.
Plans that provide Medicare beneficiaries with access to quality, affordable health care. Also known as "Part C" plans. Many low-cost or $0 premium plans are available, including plans for Veterans. Plans vary depending on your location.
Part D is offered through private companies either as a stand-alone plan for those enrolled in Original Medicare, or as a set of benefits included with your Medicare Advantage Plan.
Also known as Medigap. Medigap is Medicare Supplement Insurance that helps fill "gaps" in Original Medicare and is sold by private insurance companies. Original Medicare pays for much, but not all, of the cost for covered health care services and supplies. A Medicare Supplement Insurance policy can help pay some of the remaining health care costs, such as copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles.
Comprehensive dental coverage is an important part of your overall health plan. I assist clients in identifying and enrolling in dental plans that align with their individual needs and budget. I also conduct a thorough review of each application to ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete prior to submission.
My priority is ensuring that clients requiring specialized care are matched with the most appropriate SNP plan for their individual needs. This is achieved through the use of specialized plans that cover many expenses for people with Medicaid/Low Income, disabilities, chronic illnesses, and other qualifying conditions. Standard and RON (coming soon) notary services are available upon request. A notary verifies the signer's identity and willingness to sign. I can notarize documents such as advanced directives, healthcare surrogates, and/or MPOAs. I am not a licensed attorney and cannot offer legal advice. (Fees for specific services may apply.)
